Christmas 2003
This is a drawing I did for my sister's Christmas present in 2003. She pretty much introduced Harry Potter to me, and it brought us closer together in those years than anything else! We think of those years and release dates and exciting times with great fondness. One of her favorite photos of the trio was one that (as far as I know) only ever appeared in the Chamber of Secrets piano book. I looked and looked but could never find it online, and it didn't even seem to actually be a scene that took place in the movie. So, I decided to put this rare moment down on paper. She loved it! I think they actually look a lot like the actors, which always quite surprises me. They just look so happy, don't they? Those crazy kids.
This was matted and framed, and when I scanned it I liked how it looked with the matte, so I left it on.
